The Parthenon, built in 1897 as part of the Tennessee Centennial Exposition, is located in Centennial Park at 2500 West End Avenue in Nashville.

It has been used for many films, but it is most recognizable in the 1975 film “Nashville,” where the climactic ending occurs. The characters gathered at the Parthenon for an outdoor concert as a small fundraiser for the Walker campaign.

Not much changed for the location itself, simply the hanging of a large banner that states “Hal Phillip Walker, Replacement Party President” and a large American flag above it. They also built a small stage that was surfaced on the top stair and emerged out from there. The building of this set appears to have been fairly easy and caused no damage to the landmark.

The Parthenon was also used in the background of of an advertisement for Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief!
